Love Triangle Unfolds on 'The Manager' as Actor Choi Daniel and Animal Advocate Lee Kang-tae Steal the Show

A love triangle erupted during the filming of MBC's 'The Manager'.

On the episode aired on the 14th, actor Choi Daniel and K-animal dad creator Lee Kang-tae made appearances.

Choi Daniel shared about his chemistry with actress Choi Kang-hee, saying, "People around us often say we look good together. They say our codes match well." After their previous broadcast together, viewers expressed their support with comments like "Can't you two just date?", "You look like a Dumb and Dumber couple," and "Get married!"

In response, Jeon Hyun-moo teased, "I've never seen a couple that matches better than Yang Se-hyung and Park So-young. I thought no one could surpass you two," eliciting laughter.

Meanwhile, Lee Kang-tae, known as the father of abandoned dogs and cats, appeared. As the secretary-general of an animal rescue center, he shared, "I rescue and send abandoned animals for adoption. In one year, I rescued 270 animals and sent 220 for adoption."

Lee Kang-tae gained fame for a viral meme where he was seen lying affectionately with his pet dog Dada instead of his wife. His wife humorously remarked, "I'm his wife," sparking laughter.

Regarding his unique love for animals, Lee Kang-tae explained, "I've lived with animals since I was young. My father used to bring home abandoned animals." He added, "I worked as a pet groomer and did a lot of volunteer grooming. I started my YouTube channel with the idea that 'you should earn your own food money.'"

Currently raising nine animals, he revealed, "I spend about 300,000 won a month on pet food. Medical expenses range from 10 to 20 million won a year. When I had three sick friends, it cost 50 to 60 million won a year."

In the studio, a sudden love triangle unfolded. Lee Kang-tae's wife and Dada began a playful rivalry. Yang Se-hyung commented, "Maybe it's because Kang-tae's voice is heard but he's not seen," while Jeon Hyun-moo joked, "Are the two women fighting? They must be uncomfortable with each other," causing laughter.

Amidst this, Lee Kang-tae was seen calling out "Dada" and showing affection only to his pet, oblivious to the situation. Dada calmed down with his touch but bid farewell with longing eyes, drawing attention.

Lee Kang-tae's wife, who caught him in the act multiple times, shared, "I didn't go out, but they took the elevator down together and fought. Even during work hours, I had to tell them, 'Separate!'" causing everyone to burst into laughter.
