In the 'Black and White Zone' segment, Kim Sook, Yoon Nam-no, and Park Eun-young visited the culinary hotspot of Cheongdam-dong in Gangnam-gu. They explored the restaurant of Chef Tommy Lee, who gained fame on 'Black and White Chef Season 2' as 'French Papa.' The restaurant, which has been in operation for 17 years, showcased its classic main space along with an efficient kitchen and cooking facilities.

The 'Gangwon Province Winter Special' took the team to a remote village in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, where temperatures dropped to 10 degrees below zero, with a wind chill of minus 13 degrees. 'Nature Team' members Kim Dae-ho and Yang Se-hyung, along with 'City Team' members Yang Se-chan and Ahn Jae-hyun, displayed their contrasting chemistry. Ahn Jae-hyun, born in 1987, is known to have amicably divorced in 2020. The team immersed themselves in the daily lives of those enduring the harsh winter.

The snow that fell on the day of filming transformed a frozen stream into a natural skating rink, sparking the curiosity of the participants. They engaged in playful activities, such as hitting the frozen stream with stones and pulling each other on sleds, evoking laughter. A curling match for a 'wish ticket' ensued, with Yang Se-chan narrowly winning by a single point. Upon victory, he shocked everyone by suggesting a 'group plunge' into the icy water.

The first location visited was a 'slash-and-burn farmer's house.' This area, once home to slash-and-burn farmers, now has only about ten households remaining. The house they visited was the first in the village, originally the home of the homeowner's grandmother. The current owner moved in about 20 years ago and has maintained the original structure without remodeling, capturing attention.
