Im Soo-jung is making her return to the small screen after five years with the new tvN weekend drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea'.

The drama, written by Oh Han-ki and directed by Im Pil-sung, is produced by Studio Dragon and Mindmark, Studio329. It tells the suspenseful story of a building owner struggling with debt who becomes involved in a fake kidnapping to protect his family and property.

Im Soo-jung plays Kim Sun, the wife of Ki Soo-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo), a strong and decisive character. Kim Sun is a 'steel mom' who remains calm in crises and has given up her nursing career to focus on her hearing-impaired daughter's education, with the goal of sending her abroad for studies.

However, when her husband Ki Soo-jong buys a building with a risky loan, shadows loom over the family's future. Suspicion grows as her husband seems to be hiding something about the building, prompting Kim Sun to take action for her daughter and family. Her unexpected wit and choices add tension to the plot.

Im Soo-jung's return to TV after five years since 'Melancholia' is drawing attention. Known for her versatility across genres like melodrama, thriller, fantasy, human drama, and office stories, her acting skills are set to expand once again in 'Building Owner'. Her chemistry with Ha Jung-woo as a realistic couple amidst a series of incidents will lead the story in unpredictable directions.

The production team stated, "Kim Sun becomes bolder in moments of crisis, bringing unexpected twists to the plot. Viewers can look forward to seeing a new side of Im Soo-jung."
