Oh Hyun-jung Shines as Scene-Stealer in tvN's 'I'll Give You the Universe'

Oh Hyun-jung, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts and a fellow actor at Namoo Actors alongside Song Kang, has emerged as a scene-stealer with his infectious energy.

In the premiere of tvN's 'I'll Give You the Universe' on the 4th, Oh Hyun-jung captivated audiences with his role as 'Kim Ui-jun,' a baby photographer and close friend of Tae-hyung (played by Bae In-hyuk), adding a delightful twist to the drama.

In episodes 1 and 2, Ui-jun (Oh Hyun-jung) makes his first appearance by visiting the home of Seung-taek (Yoon Woo) and Tae-hyung. Notably, Ui-jun humorously critiques Tae-hyung's spending habits, showcasing his role as a true friend when Tae-hyung expresses the importance of his personal space.

Ui-jun's warm personality is also portrayed impressively. When Tae-hyung, struggling after the death of his brother Woo-jin (Ha Jun), visits the photo studio with alcohol, Ui-jun intuitively senses something is wrong and gently inquires, "That's not it, is it? You always bring soju when something's up," showing genuine concern. Ui-jun's heartfelt support and willingness to listen to Tae-hyung, along with sharing a drink, bring a comforting warmth to the scene, naturally revealing the deep bond they've built over time.

Oh Hyun-jung breathes life into his character with stable acting skills and a natural tone. From showcasing chemistry with Bae In-hyuk to portraying a steadfast friend during tough times, Oh Hyun-jung's portrayal of 'Kim Ui-jun' exudes charm and warmth, leaving a lasting impression in every scene. His exceptional ability to embody the character vividly draws attention to his future role in the series.
