In a significant move to support amateur baseball, JTBC's 'Strongest Baseball' team, the Strongest Breakers, has donated their 'Strongest Series' prize money of 30 million won. This comes amid rumors of the show's cancellation, showcasing a meaningful gesture.

'Strongest Baseball' is a reality sports entertainment program where retired professional baseball players form a team to take on new challenges in the sport. In the 137th episode aired on the 9th, the Breakers clinched the 'Strongest Series' title, earning them the name 'Strongest Breakers.' Coach Lee Jong-beom announced, "We will donate the prize money to support amateur baseball," expressing their intention to donate the 30 million won prize.

According to the 2025 production team of 'Strongest Baseball,' "Following the wishes of the Strongest Breakers' coach, staff, and players, donations and goods worth 10 million won each were delivered to three organizations on the 4th and 9th under the name 'Strongest Breakers.'"

During a donation ceremony held at JTBC on the 4th, the Strongest Breakers donated 10 million won to the Korea Little Baseball Federation for youth baseball development and another 10 million won to the University Baseball Federation for college baseball development. Understanding the challenges faced by independent league players who must procure their own equipment, the Strongest Breakers also donated baseball equipment worth 10 million won to the Gyeonggi-do Baseball Softball Association to support these players.

The production team of 'Strongest Baseball' stated, "We hope the heartfelt support of the Strongest Breakers reaches many players pursuing their dreams in high school, college, and independent league teams." They added, "We will continue to support amateur players in their passionate pursuit of baseball dreams."

'Strongest Baseball' will take a break on the 16th due to the broadcast of the '2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics,' with the 138th episode concluding the 2025 season airing on the 23rd at 10:30 PM.
