MBC's 'Marriage Hell' Unveils Shocking Family Trauma and Abuse

On the night of the 9th, MBC's 'Oh Eun-young Report - Marriage Hell' aired a special episode featuring a mother and son as the first protagonists of the 'family hell' series, revealing deep mistrust and wounds between them.

In the previous episode, the son confessed a tragic story from his childhood, where his mother installed a CCTV in his room to monitor him and beat him with a recorder and broomstick to the point of needing stitches. Now an adult, he claims that the fear of death he felt back then still haunts him. In response, the mother accused the son of assaulting her while drunk, and shocking messages were revealed where they refused to acknowledge each other as family, leaving the panelists appalled.

The conflict over in-law disputes and the issue of renaming the grandchild was also severe. The son, married to a Vietnamese wife, expressed dissatisfaction with his mother's invasive behavior, visiting their home daily. The son, worried that his condition might worsen like his sister's, revealed that she currently isolates herself in her room, living a precarious life. The mother, who was harsh with the son, showed a completely different, nervous demeanor when the daughter emerged, raising questions. Dr. Oh Eun-young, witnessing the unbelievable relationship between the mother and daughter, sternly criticized the mother, stating, "The daughter is also a clear victim of child abuse, and you have done something you should never do as a parent."
