Hwang Min-hyun Shares Heartfelt Stories and Unwavering Charm Post-Military Service

Hwang Min-hyun, who recently completed his military service, has captivated fans with his genuine care and a humorous anecdote involving mistaken identity with Park Seo-joon.

On Kim Jae-joong's YouTube channel 'Jae Friend,' a video titled 'You'll Think About It a Lot Before Bed, Handsome Attack' was released.

In the video, Hwang Min-hyun, who resumed his activities after being discharged last December, engaged in a deep conversation with Kim Jae-joong. Reflecting on his time working at a nursing home, Hwang shared, "I experienced the life of an ordinary office worker, looking forward to weekends, checking holidays, and feeling the joy of payday."

During his first schedule post-discharge, the 'Gayo Daejejeon' teaser shoot, Hwang admitted feeling awkward in front of the camera, especially during rhythm scenes. However, he prepared a special event for the two fans who attended, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.

Hwang revealed that he wanted to make the two fans, who won against high odds, the happiest among all the artists' fans attending 'Gayo Daejejeon.'

Demonstrating his thoughtfulness, Hwang personally reserved a high-end Korean beef restaurant, where a meal costs around $60-$70 per person, to prevent fans from hesitating due to price concerns. He pre-ordered premium cuts for them. The fans, part of the MZ generation, later edited and uploaded a video of their experience, which garnered 2.8 million views online.

Hwang's striking appearance also led to amusing stories. When Kim Jae-joong complimented his looks and mentioned similar-looking celebrities, Hwang recounted a past incident during his NU'EST days. He mistakenly received a gift intended for Park Seo-joon, a music show MC at the time, and personally delivered it to him, eliciting laughter.

Acknowledging his captivating eyes as a charm point, Hwang expressed confidence in his appearance.

Hwang also shared his fondness for Wanna One, who recently made headlines with their reunion. He mentioned that their group chat has become active again, reminiscing about the overwhelming sight at their debut in Gocheok Dome.

While establishing himself as an actor, Hwang continues vocal lessons, stating, "Since I started as an idol singer, I still love the stage," showing his strong passion for future musical endeavors.
