Running Man's Hong Jin-ho Faces Eyelid Surgery Speculation

Hong Jin-ho, a guest on 'Running Man,' faced speculation about undergoing double eyelid surgery.

On the October 8th episode of SBS's variety show 'Running Man,' titled 'Game of 2,' Hong Jin-ho and Mimi made guest appearances.

During the show, Yoo Jae-suk noticed Hong Jin-ho's eyes and asked, "Did you get double eyelid surgery?" Hong Jin-ho, whose one eye appeared swollen, explained, "I had ptosis surgery last year, and it recurred, so I had to do it again. The swelling hasn't gone down yet. Why bring this up as soon as I arrive?" expressing his embarrassment.

When asked if he only had surgery on one eye, Hong Jin-ho replied, "I had both done before, but this time it was just one. Ptosis surgery twice," emphasizing the number '2.' Yang Se-chan humorously commented, "It looks like a mosquito bite," eliciting laughter.

Yoo Jae-suk, observing guests Mimi and Hong Jin-ho, joked, "Is today a 'diction special'? Overall, it's a bit sloppy," with a smile.

During a mission requiring a multiple of two people in a restaurant, Yoo Jae-suk urged, "If there are five people in the dumpling hot pot restaurant, someone needs to leave quickly." Hong Jin-ho expressed frustration, "Why do you always want to send someone else and not go yourself?" Yang Se-chan added humorously, "If I go, I'll blow it up," causing laughter.

Meanwhile, the 'Running Man' members participated in an 'Age Notice Survival' shoot, following the plan of Yoo Jae-suk, the winner of the previous mission.

Yang Se-chan and Kim Jong-kook expressed their dissatisfaction with the tteokbokki shop owner's favoritism towards Yoo Jae-suk during last week's mission, saying, "He didn't say anything when I went," and "Don't favor citizens. Why only help Jae-suk hyung? It's frustrating."

Ji Seok-jin and Ji Ye-eun's outrageous costumes caused laughter among the members. Ji Seok-jin explained, "It's because of Haha. We had to succeed in the mission," showing his frustration. Later, he mistakenly said, "'Running Man' is for ages 12 and up," to which the production team corrected, "It's 15," causing more laughter.
