Epik High's Tablo and Daughter Haru Impress with Fluent English Skills
Recently, a video titled "Talking About a Stalker at Tukutz's House" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Epik High.'
In the video, Tablo and member Tukutz discussed popular slang, with Tablo noting, "We don't use 'Swag' in English anymore. It's like how we say 'thumbs up' in Korean," highlighting how trends change.
Tablo called Haru and asked, "How do you say 'cool' or 'awesome' in English these days?" Haru confidently replied, "'That's awesome.' We don't use 'Swag' anymore," showcasing her fluent English.
When Tablo mentioned Tukutz's question about 'Lit,' Haru explained, "Some people use it, but personally, I don't say 'oh that's lit' often. Nowadays, no single word is trending. We mostly use 'That's awesome' or 'great.'"
Comments on the video praised Haru's English skills, saying, "Haru's pronunciation is amazing," "As a current high school student, she's impressive," "Her English is so good it surprised me," and "I get excited every time I hear her voice."
Meanwhile, Tablo, born in 1980 and now 45, married actress Kang Hye-jung in 2009, and they have a daughter, Haru. The father-daughter duo gained popularity after appearing on KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' in 2013.
