Romantic Twist in 'From Today, I'm Human': Romon Kisses Kim Hye-yoon
Eun-ho's confession was more of a declaration than a heartfelt admission. Like a hobby from her gumiho days, she casually suggested, "Since I'm human now, why not try dating you?" leaving Kang Si-yeol speechless. Despite his initial shock, Eun-ho's flirtations continued. Meanwhile, they received news of Hwang Dong-sik's (played by Jung Dong-hwan) passing at a nursing home. Eun-ho, recalling memories of Hwang Dong-sik through a conversation with his son (played by Oh Min-seok), felt an inexplicable guilt and debt. Kang Si-yeol, at Eun-ho's request, donated all his money and left the funeral.
At that moment, Pal Mi-ho (played by Lee Si-woo) appeared, revealing that Eun-ho's spiritual power had accumulated. Eun-ho realized, "I think I know what we need to do now," and headed to meet Chairman Kim (played by Kim Hong-pa), the top representative of the country's largest pharmaceutical company and a long-time VIP client. In the past, Chairman Kim had used Eun-ho's spiritual power to foresee the clinical results of a new drug developed by Hwang Dong-sik and persuaded him to sell it. Eun-ho pressured Chairman Kim to transfer the company building as compensation, emphasizing that he was enjoying the success that should have belonged to Hwang Dong-sik. Eun-ho believed that correcting past wrongs was essential to accumulating spiritual power.
The episode also featured Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol's first date. Eun-ho, who said, "What I want isn't something novel, but a typical romance," took Kang Si-yeol on a date to Namsan. They enjoyed a view of the city from an observatory, wrote wishes on a lock, and shared a meal, all ordinary activities in the human world but extraordinary for Eun-ho experiencing them for the first time.
As they walked hand in hand, Kang Si-yeol asked if Eun-ho would erase his memories when they returned to their original selves. Eun-ho replied that to live normally, his memories of her must be erased, calling it "my last gift to you." Kang Si-yeol, with a serious gaze and voice, countered, "What if I don't want to be ordinary? If you erase my memories and only you remember this moment, can't I at least do this my way?" He then kissed Eun-ho, bringing the episode to a thrilling climax.
SBS's 'From Today, I'm Human' will not air on the 13th and 14th due to the Lunar New Year holiday schedule. The drama will return with episode 9 on the 20th at 9:50 PM.
