Unveiling the Secrets of Brain Cells and Anti-Aging Energy on SBS's 'Three Perspectives'
Airing on Sunday, the 8th, at 8:35 AM, 'Three Perspectives' will explore the secrets to 'cellular rejuvenation' that help fend off aging and disease from historical, scientific, and medical viewpoints. The show will feature host Kim Seok-hoon, Solji, science writer Kwak Jae-sik, docent Lee Chang-yong, gastroenterologist Kim Bo-min, and family medicine specialist Seo Myung-won.
The 'cell,' the smallest unit of our body, is mostly replaced over time, but brain cells are different. Created at birth, they remain with us for life. The brain, an irreplaceable organ, acts as the control tower for our thoughts, movements, and emotions. The issue arises as these precious brain cells are increasingly overtaken by 'zombie cells' as we age.
Gastroenterologist Kim Bo-min warns, "If your body doesn't feel the same as before, it's evidence that zombie cells have already invaded your organs and brain." She further explains, "To protect brain cells from zombie cells and ensure new cells function properly, a supportive cellular energy environment is necessary," suggesting that supplementing with NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) related to cellular energy metabolism is one approach.
The increasing weight, easily fatigued body, and changing skin in the mirror are all related to the decline in brain cell energy. In an era where good food and exercise alone are insufficient, the fate of health and youth hinges on 'cellular energy management.' All of this will be unveiled in the 33rd episode of 'Three Perspectives' on Sunday, the 8th, at 8:35 AM.
