tvN Drama 'I'll Give You the Universe' Sees Unexpected Cohabitation Agreement

In the latest episode of tvN's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'I'll Give You the Universe,' aired on the 5th, viewers witnessed the unexpected cohabitation agreement between Seon Tae-hyung (played by Bae In-hyuk) and Woo Hyun-jin (played by Noh Jung-ui). The episode depicted their drastically changed lives as they took on the responsibility of caring for Woo-joo (played by Park Yoo-ho), their nephew. The two characters agreed to live together under mutually beneficial conditions, forming a joint childcare contract. The second episode's viewership rating was 1.3%, a drop from the 1.9% rating of the first episode.

Following the funeral of Seon Woo-jin (played by Ha Jun) and Woo Hyun-joo (played by Park Ji-hyun), Woo Hyun-jin returned home with Woo-joo. While she briefly felt the sadness of the empty house, she quickly found herself overwhelmed by the challenges of solo parenting. Amidst this, she received news of her acceptance for an interview at BS Food, forcing her to juggle childcare and interview preparations. However, unexpected events continued to catch her off guard. On the day of the interview, her best friend Baek Se-yeon (played by Choi Gyu-ri) was suddenly called away on a business trip, leaving Woo Hyun-jin without childcare. Desperate, she turned to her in-law, Seon Tae-hyung, for help.

Moved by Woo Hyun-jin's plea, Seon Tae-hyung became Woo-joo's temporary guardian. With no prior experience in childcare, he found the task extremely challenging. Woo-joo's antics, turning the house upside down in the blink of an eye, left Seon Tae-hyung frustrated. Unable to contain his exasperation, he took Woo-joo to BS Food, where Woo Hyun-jin was interviewing, causing a commotion that brought laughter to viewers. The incident led to a heated argument between Seon Tae-hyung and Woo Hyun-jin, ending with them vowing never to see each other again.

Meanwhile, Seon Tae-hyung faced issues with the renovation of his new home. His insistence on proceeding with the construction led to a burst water pipe, and his failure to respond to calls while caring for Woo-joo resulted in missed opportunities to resolve the issue, delaying the project. With his current apartment already promised to a new tenant and his furniture in storage, Seon Tae-hyung found himself with no choice but to move in with Woo-joo. Woo Hyun-jin was taken aback by Seon Tae-hyung's audacity as he moved in unannounced, claiming he had received permission from Woo-joo, the de facto tenant.

Despite initially rejecting Seon Tae-hyung's proposal, Woo Hyun-jin found herself reconsidering. With Seon Tae-hyung offering to take on the challenging task of caring for Woo-joo, maintaining a clean household, and her receiving a final acceptance call from BS Food, the timing seemed perfect. Woo Hyun-jin's resolve wavered, leading to the agreement of a one-month cohabitation with Woo-joo.

The episode also introduced Park Yoon-sung (played by Park Seo-ham), the talented team leader of BS Food's Planning Team 3, who has achieved top sales for three consecutive years. His interest was piqued upon discovering Woo Hyun-jin's resume while reviewing candidates for a team member position, hinting at a past connection between the two and sparking curiosity about their shared history.
