In the October 4th episode of MBC's 'The First Man,' the story unfolded with Chae Hwa-young (played by Oh Hyun-kyung) attempting to cover up an accident involving Oh Bok-gil (played by Kim Hak-sun). Previously, Chae Hwa-young had kidnapped Oh Bok-gil after he discovered the truth.

Chae Hwa-young was shocked to find Oh Bok-gil still alive. However, her shock was short-lived as she struck him with a blunt object without hesitation, leaving viewers in disbelief.

Furthermore, Chae Hwa-young devised a plan to deal with Oh Bok-gil by staging a car accident, involving Kang Nam-bong (played by Jung Chan) in the scheme. However, during the process, she made a critical slip of the tongue, adding tension to the scene.

Upon hearing about Oh Bok-gil's surgery, Chae Hwa-young was engulfed in anxiety, fearing her crime might be exposed. Towards the end of the episode, she was visibly shaken when Ma Seo-rin (played by Ham Eun-jung) mentioned a conversation with Lee Kang-hyuk (played by Lee Jae-hwang), heightening anticipation for the next episode.

Oh Hyun-kyung compellingly portrayed Chae Hwa-young, a character who stops at nothing to protect herself. Her portrayal, marked by a chilling gaze, captivated the audience.

She skillfully depicted the character's evolving emotions, building a solid narrative foundation. Oh Hyun-kyung's presence alone shifted the atmosphere, adding significant weight to the drama.
