Mr. Kim's Bold Pursuit of Chrysanthemum in 'I Am SOLO: Love Continues'
On the episode airing at 10:30 PM on the 5th on SBS Plus and ENA, Mr. Kim's intense romance with Chrysanthemum takes center stage as his straightforward approach turns into a wild chase.
In this episode, Kyungsoo and Chrysanthemum from the 26th season share a romantic 'one-on-one conversation' in the rain. To escape the continuous rain, they move to an empty room in their accommodation. Mr. Kim, waiting forlornly under the eaves for Chrysanthemum, realizes, "I can't hear their voices. They must have gone inside!" and becomes a 'love chaser' following them. This scene is reminiscent of the 24th season's Youngsik secretly watching Oksun's conversation, prompting MC Defconn to comment, "Doesn't this scene look familiar? Mr. Kim has become Bongsik. Mr. Bong Kim!"
Sighing deeply and waiting anxiously for Chrysanthemum, Mr. Kim eventually takes a 'sudden action'. Chrysanthemum briefly shows a serious expression. Swallowing his disappointment, Mr. Kim heads to the 'common living room'. He then expresses a somber mood, saying, "I don't think I can stay long." However, shortly after, he is seen with a drink in hand, appearing to lose control. Despite usually abstaining from alcohol, Mr. Kim, with a 'burning sweet potato' face, confesses, "I think I endured with my mind, not my body. I didn't want to appear weak in front of Chrysanthemum." Eventually, he lies down in his room, reassuring himself, "I think I did really well today. I burned brightly." The question remains whether Mr. Kim's full-throttle approach will win Chrysanthemum's heart.
