'I Am SOLO' Season 30: Young-ja Captivates Three Suitors, Becomes the Star of the Show

Young-ja from 'I Am SOLO' Season 30 has become the center of attention, capturing the interest of three male contestants.

On the October 4th episode of SBS Plus and ENA's reality show 'I Am SOLO', the 30th season contestants introduced themselves as they entered the 'Solo Country 30'.

After dinner, the results of the first impression selections by the male contestants were revealed. The female contestants performed hit songs like 'Gangnam Style' and 'Abracadabra', and the male contestants approached the women they were interested in to dance together. Young-soo was the first to choose Young-ja, saying, "I like her smile." Young-ho chose Young-sook, and Young-sik picked Young-ja, who had chosen him first. Young-chul also went to Young-ja, while Kwang-soo chose Ok-soon, complimenting her "pretty eye smile," and Sang-chul picked Hyun-sook, who had chosen him first. With three votes, Young-ja emerged as the most popular contestant. Unfortunately, Soon-ja and Jung-sook received no votes.

As the first impression results were revealed, Young-ja found herself surrounded by Young-soo, Young-sik, and Young-chul, who all showed interest in her. Young-sik asked Young-ja for a one-on-one conversation, saying, "Unless something drastic happens, I think my feelings will continue towards you, but I hope you don't feel pressured." Young-ja admitted, "I usually don't like overly kind people, but here, I'm trying to let go of my usual standards," expressing curiosity about Young-soo and Young-chul as well.

On the second day, the contestants began their introductions. Young-soo, born in 1992, works in the planning team for a new brand at a fashion company, having previously worked at H Heavy Industries and S Duty-Free. He described his routine as home-work-exercise and enjoys chatting with a café owner on weekends. Young-ho, also born in 1992, is a piping design specialist at H Power Technology and has a surprising background as a former naval officer. He shared, "My strength is being strong within gentleness," and revealed he once had a long-distance relationship between Baengnyeong Island and Busan.

Young-sik, another 1992-born contestant, is a real estate lawyer who prides himself on being responsive and emotionally stable despite his busy schedule. Young-chul, born in 1991, is preparing to take over his father's electrical safety management and solar power business after working as a math teacher. He humorously noted, "I adapt to my partner's preferences and usually end up getting scolded." Kwang-soo, also born in 1992, is a semiconductor design engineer at S Electronics and prefers relationships where he follows rather than leads. Lastly, Sang-chul, the oldest at 1989, is a tax accountant looking for someone to draw him out of his homebody tendencies.

Young-sook, born in 1991, is a marketer at a foreign pharmaceutical company with a background in pharmacy. Jung-sook, born in 1993, works as a police officer in Gyeonggi Province. Soon-ja, born in 1995, is a project manager at a large corporation's health food division and has a boxing record of 10 wins and 4 losses as an amateur. She prefers quiet and reserved men.

Young-ja, born in 1992, is a building facilities engineer at a major domestic construction company with hobbies including camping, fishing, and sewing. Due to her job, she anticipates a long-distance marriage and proudly shared that she has secured an apartment in Seoul through her efforts. Ok-soon, also born in 1992, runs a Pilates center after a career in elite dance. Lastly, Hyun-sook, a 1992-born Canadian accountant, enjoys sports like camping, swimming, and skiing, and values partners with clear goals and self-awareness.
