Korean Actor Kim Min Joins Cast of 'Love Doctor' with Choo Young-woo
Kim Min has been cast as 'Choi Han-gyeol' in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Love Doctor', airing this year. The series follows the story of Park Min-jae (played by Choo Young-woo), a former high school swimmer who lost a leg due to illness and is now a Ph.D. student, and Im Yoo-jin (played by Kim So-hyun), a master's student who finds a new path after losing her career direction. The drama promises a spicy, bitter, and sweet romance blossoming in a robotics lab.
In the drama, Kim Min plays the role of Choi Han-gyeol, the youngest member responsible for the lively atmosphere in the robotics lab. Choi Han-gyeol is more familiar with research than romance, embodying the 'researcher at heart' persona. He is quick to laugh at small jokes and gets swept up in the mood, but becomes intensely focused on research once the lab lights go out. Choi Han-gyeol will navigate his research and daily life in his unique way within the bustling lab.
Kim Min has previously impressed audiences with his stable performances in dramas like 'High Cookie', 'Hyde', 'Detective 1958', and films such as 'Rebound', 'The Killers', and 'Lobby'. He is also set to challenge himself in his first historical genre film, 'The Man Who Lives with the King', which is scheduled for nationwide release on the 4th, showcasing strong chemistry with actors Yoo Hae-jin and Park Ji-hoon.
'Love Doctor' will air as a Monday-Tuesday drama on the ENA channel and will be available for free on-demand viewing on KT Genie TV.
