'I Am Solo' Star Young-sook Reacts to Young-sik's Resignation: 'I Was Shocked and Worried'

Young-sook, known as 'Oh Eun-young-sook' from the 29th season of 'I Am Solo,' has shared her thoughts on Young-sik's resignation.

On the 4th, the 'Chonjang Entertainment TV' channel released an exclusive interview with Young-sook from the 29th season.

In the video, Young-sook revealed that she urgently contacted the production team after hearing about Young-sik's sudden resignation.

Young-sook gained attention in the 29th season for her role as 'Oh Eun-young-sook,' where she took on the role of advising Young-sik on social life. A video on the ENA channel featuring Young-sook counseling Young-sik has garnered over 1.14 million views, drawing significant interest.

Regarding Young-sik's resignation, Young-sook expressed, "I was very surprised. Honestly, I was shocked. Could it be because of me? Or because of the show? I couldn't help but worry," she confessed, adding, "As soon as I heard Young-sik quit his job, I contacted the PD."

She further explained, "The timing was concerning because it happened right after the 'Oh Eun-young-sook' episode aired. I was very worried and contacted the PD urgently."

Young-sook continued, "I had many concerns after hearing the news, but Young-sik told me he had already planned to leave the company, and the timing just happened to coincide. Nevertheless, I felt sorry because it happened during the broadcast."

Reflecting on her feelings towards Young-sik on 'I Am Solo,' she said, "I should have seen Young-sik as a man. I should have treated him as a man, but with a 9-year age difference, he felt more like a younger brother, and in some ways, I felt like a teacher."
