Comedian Hong Hyun-hee Addresses Wegovy Rumors After Weight Loss Success

Comedian Hong Hyun-hee has directly addressed the 'Wegovy rumors' that surfaced following her successful weight loss.

On October 3rd, the YouTube channel 'Hong Hyun-hee and Jason's HongssunTV' released a video titled 'This Year... HongssunTV... Will It Be Okay...?' featuring Hong Hyun-hee's junior, Song Yi-ji, who joined to discuss various topics.

Upon seeing Hong Hyun-hee, who recently entered the 40kg range, Song Yi-ji expressed surprise, saying, "Senior, you've really gotten so much smaller." The two then explored tarot readings related to having a second child. Hong Hyun-hee and her husband Jason drew cards, curious about their plans for a second child. Song Yi-ji interpreted the cards, saying, "Once again, it seems like Jason's one shot will be enough. He still has plenty of strength. However, there are external variables that might disrupt things."

Song Yi-ji added, "Hong Hyun-hee has the energy to embrace a second child. If you're seriously considering it, I strongly recommend this year." They also speculated on the gender of the second child. When Song Yi-ji mentioned feeling a stronger energy for a daughter, Jason responded, "If it turns out this way, it would be really amazing. There's no fantasy. I don't particularly want a daughter, but it's intriguing to hear this."

During the video, Hong Hyun-hee addressed the Wegovy controversy. She laughed off the rumors, saying, "Someone asked if I took Wegovy, but I absolutely did not. Even my juniors are suspicious." She jokingly added, "Yi-ji, you seem to have gained weight after getting married."

Song Yi-ji humorously replied, "I'm 72kg now, and Jason is 75kg. With just a 3kg difference, we could be almost the same. I'll enjoy eating today and try to match the weight." Hong Hyun-hee added, "The happier you are, the more weight you gain. I also gained a lot during my honeymoon phase."

Despite Hong Hyun-hee's explanation, Song Yi-ji's suspicions persisted. Song Yi-ji joked, "I wonder if there's a big player behind you, like a drug only available overseas." Hong Hyun-hee responded, "That's why you keep doubting me. She's a woman too. She's jealous because I've lost weight," bringing laughter to the scene.
