MBC Every1's 'Hotel Goblin' Episode 3: A Blend of Laughter, Labor, and Cultural Exchange
In the evening, the goblins serve their guests a traditional Korean meal featuring 'Bibimbap' with Jeju-grown bracken and fresh vegetables, accompanied by warm seaweed soup. As 'Transport Goblin' Jeon Sung-gon (Captain Gon) and Lee Dae-hwi busily serve the dishes, 'Master' Go Doo-shim calmly explains the significance of each bibimbap ingredient and the essence of Korean hospitality, helping guests appreciate the meal. Her warm explanations prompt the curious guests to eagerly dig into the unfamiliar Korean cuisine.
A young guest from Italy, Carlo, steals the spotlight with his fascination for 'K-Food.' Unfazed by the spicy gochujang sauce, he mixes eggs, meat, and mushrooms into his bibimbap and devours it with gusto, showcasing an impressive 'mukbang' performance. Go Doo-shim couldn't hide her delighted 'grandmother smile' throughout Carlo's hearty meal.
After the meal, guests move to a traditional Korean room for a 'traditional snack time.' Initially awkward with the floor-seating culture, the guests soon relax, enjoying the sweet taste of sikhye and the goblins' friendly interactions. Thanks to Lee Dae-hwi and Son Na-eun's roles as interpreters and mood-makers, a deep cross-cultural connection fills the room.
As the second day of operations begins, the goblins tailor tours to suit their guests' preferences, splitting them into the 'Hallasan hiking team' and the 'horse riding and tangerine picking team.' From the majestic snow-covered Hallasan to the refreshing experience of a tangerine farm, the contrasting itineraries promise viewers a vicarious healing journey through the goblins' and guests' unique adventures.
Additionally, a special part-time worker arrives at 'Hotel Goblin,' adding to the hotel's vibrancy. As curiosity builds around the identity of this versatile worker, the story of the goblins' heartfelt efforts and Jeju's beauty on the second day of operations can be seen on Tuesday, at 8:30 PM on MBC Every1's 'Hotel Goblin' Episode 3.
