Intrigue Builds Around 'Honor: Her Court' as Key Characters Shape the Drama's Mystery
'Honor: Her Court' (hereafter 'Honor') is a mystery thriller about three female lawyers confronting a massive scandal from the past. Characters Baek Tae-joo (Yeon Woo-jin), Park Jae-yeol (Seo Hyun-woo), and Goo Sun-kyu (Choi Young-jun) play pivotal roles in the unfolding events, impacting the truth-seeking journey of the three lawyers from the L&J (Listen & Join) law firm, specializing in female crime victims: Yoon Ra-young (Lee Na-young), Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-chae), and Hwang Hyun-jin (Lee Chung-ah). As differing perspectives and stances clash over the same case, the drama promises to intensify the pressure as hidden truths come to light.
Seo Hyun-woo, born in 1983, plays prosecutor 'Park Jae-yeol,' who engages in a tense power struggle with the L&J trio. His composed demeanor and low-toned dialogue exude pressure, casting a chilling tension over the drama. Scenes with Yoon Ra-young promise intense confrontations. Lee Na-young, born in 1979, shared, "My hands sweated a lot during scenes with Park Jae-yeol. The dialogue and conflict were intriguing, making it fun to shoot," adding to the anticipation of their dynamic energy. In the highlight video, Park Jae-yeol's line, "It's up to you, don't you understand?" encapsulates his coercive nature, suggesting he will further disrupt the case's progression.
The production team stated, "Baek Tae-joo, Park Jae-yeol, and Goo Sun-kyu deeply engage with the case from different angles, intertwining with the L&J trio's pursuit of past truths, raising the drama's tension. Their presence adds a mysterious psychological layer, expanding the work into a profound psychological thriller. Stay tuned."
'Honor: Her Court' is based on a Swedish drama of the same name and premieres on February 2nd, Monday at 10 PM on ENA, with availability on KT Genie TV and Coupang Play.
