Yeonwoo Transforms into a Professional CEO in New Drama 'Lovephobia'
Premiering on February 19th at 11 PM on U+ Mobile TV and Lifetime, 'Lovephobia' is a new drama that tells the story of Yoon Bia (played by Yeonwoo), a dating app CEO who finds AI more comfortable than people, and Han Sun-ho (played by Kim Hyun-jin), a romantic novelist. Together, they design a smart dating experience through AI and discover the true meaning of love. The drama will be available first on U+ Mobile TV VOD.
In the drama, Yeonwoo plays Yoon Bia, the CEO of the AI dating app 'It's You'. Bia is a character who always seeks efficiency and perfection, maintaining the image of a confident and elegant CEO, but she harbors a secret that prevents her from being with others for more than an hour. She unexpectedly becomes entangled with Han Sun-ho, an idol in the romance novel world with a personality opposite to hers.
In contrast, another still shows Yoon Bia with a look of shock, as if she might crumble at any moment, evoking sympathy. Curiosity grows about what has caused the usually strong-hearted CEO to show signs of distress. Attention is focused on Yeonwoo's portrayal of Yoon Bia's story in 'Lovephobia', as she continues to establish herself as an actress capable of crossing genres with her solid acting skills.
'Lovephobia' is an SF romantic comedy that breaks away from the typical romance drama mold by incorporating the unique theme of AI. Directed by Wang Hye-ryung, known for her sensuous and witty direction in works like 'Deal', 'Youth Blossom', and 'Descending to Earth', and written by Lee Se-ryung, who has been recognized for her delicate writing in 'Love Broken' and 'Summer, Please', the drama is highly anticipated.
The new drama 'Lovephobia', which showcases Yeonwoo's transformation, is produced by WEMAD and will be released on February 19th at 11 PM on U+ Mobile TV and Lifetime.
