Legendary Cartoonist Heo Young-man Debunks Rumors of Losing Fortune from 'Tazza'
Legendary cartoonist Heo Young-man has addressed rumors for the first time about losing a fortune he earned from 'Tazza'.

On the October 31st episode of MBN's 'Kim Joo-ha's Day and Night', Heo Young-man, the original creator of hit films and dramas like 'Sikgaek' and 'Tazza', appeared as a guest.

Previously, Heo had amassed significant earnings from 'Tazza', which attracted 10 million viewers. Host Kim Joo-ha mentioned, "I've heard rumors that you made a lot of money from dramas and movies but lost it all in stocks."

Upon hearing the rumor, Heo Young-man expressed his disbelief, saying, "Is this how rumors start?" He clarified, "I don't even play Go-Stop during holidays, and I don't engage in speculation. If I had lost everything, I would have been kicked out of my house long ago."

Heo further explained, "When I have some money, I buy land instead of stocks," and admitted, "I once bought land secretly to build a second house and got scolded for it."

When Kim Joo-ha asked if he ever built the second house, Heo replied, "I was scammed." He also revealed that 'Tazza' remains his most lucrative work.
