Lee Jung-hyun and Husband Share Heartwarming Moments on 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'

Singer Lee Jung-hyun showcased her sweet relationship with her doctor husband on the show 'New Release, Pyeonstorang.' Earlier in 2023, Lee purchased a building in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon for 19.44 billion KRW to open a hospital for her husband, orthopedic surgeon Park Yoo-jung.

On the October 30th episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang,' the loving story of Lee Jung-hyun's family was revealed. Lee visited KBS to attend the Blue Dragon Film Awards, but instead of walking the glamorous red carpet, she entered through the back door, raising curiosity. Lee explained, "Directors are not allowed on the red carpet," and she personally collected her entry ticket. This marked her first attendance at the Blue Dragon Film Awards as a director, not an actress.

At the age of 16, Lee won the Best New Actress award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for her role in the movie 'Petal.' Nineteen years later, in 2015, she received the Best Actress award for 'Alice in Earnestland.' This year, her directorial work 'Going to the Flower Festival' was nominated for the Short Film Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Lee entered the awards with a mix of anticipation and anxiety.

Meanwhile, Lee's husband made a surprise appearance at KBS. Knowing his wife's hard work, he hoped for her win, but unfortunately, it didn't happen. As Lee walked out of the venue alone, her husband surprised her. Lee, trying to act nonchalant, couldn't hide her smile. The couple then held hands and headed to the parking lot.
