Korean broadcaster Park Soo-hong recently opened up about the darkest period in his life and the 'savior' who helped him through it.

On the 30th, a video titled "(Jae VLOG) Should We Make Him Act..? Watch Jae's Adorable Expressions (Dahong Makes a Rare Appearance ★) Parenting Vlog | Volunteer Work at the Orphanage with Dad Park Soo-hong" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Park Soo-hong Happy Dahong,' run by Park Soo-hong and his wife Kim Da-ye.

In the video, Park Soo-hong and his wife visited an orphanage they have been connected with for over 20 years. "It's been a long time since I've seen the director, and I heard new facilities are being built, so I came," Park explained.

The couple shared their experiences with the children and volunteers. Kim Da-ye expressed, "Coming here as parents after having Jae feels new." A professor, who has volunteered with Park for many years, shared a photo taken 10 years ago of Park with the orphanage children, reminiscing about the past.

The orphanage director warmly welcomed Kim Da-ye, saying, "There's luck in her. She's a blessing." Park Soo-hong expressed gratitude, saying, "It's all thanks to the director. The director told me to hold onto her the moment she saw her."

Reflecting on difficult times, Park Soo-hong shared, "There are moments when you feel like you can't go on, but meeting the children at those times was life-saving. When people turn their backs on you, these children reached out their hands to me."

Park Soo-hong has been estranged from his family due to financial disputes and has endured long legal battles and emotional distress. He now considers his wife and daughter as his only family, focusing on them as the center of his life.

Park Soo-hong married Kim Da-ye, who is 23 years his junior, in 2021. In 2024, they welcomed their daughter Jae through IVF. He candidly shares his experiences of becoming a father later in life and his parenting journey on various broadcasts and social media, receiving much support.
