Actress Choi Hee-jin shared heartwarming stories about her co-star Choi Soo-young from the drama 'Idol Idol'.

Recently, at the People Entertainment office in Mapo-gu, Seoul, we caught up with Choi Hee-jin, who starred in the Genie TV original drama 'Idol Idol'.

The drama, which concluded on the 27th, follows the story of idol Do Ra-ik (played by Kim Jae-young), who becomes a murder suspect. Star lawyer Maeng Se-na (played by Choi Soo-young) must prove his innocence while navigating between fandom and suspicion in this romantic drama. Choi Hee-jin played the role of Hong Hye-joo, the naturally beautiful second daughter of a chaebol family and Do Ra-ik's ex-girlfriend.

Reflecting on her experience working with Choi Soo-young, Choi Hee-jin said, "I learned a lot." She recalled, "I was really nervous because I'm a huge fan of Girls' Generation, but she took great care of me and helped me a lot."

Choi Hee-jin also shared a touching story about Choi Soo-young. "She always remembered and called every staff member by name on set. It's not an easy thing to do, and I learned a lot from seeing that side of her," she said. She added, "From the first shoot, she made the atmosphere comfortable. She was like a pillar, naturally leading everyone."
