Rising Star Choi Hyo-joo Joins 'My Baby's Daddy is My Friend' on Lezhin Snack

Choi Hyo-joo, a promising new talent from Namoo Actors, has announced her participation in the upcoming short drama 'My Baby's Daddy is My Friend.' Namoo Actors is home to several renowned actors, including Park Eun-bin, Song Kang, Park Ji-hyun, and Roh Jeong-eui.

Set to premiere on February 4, 'My Baby's Daddy is My Friend' is a chaotic romantic comedy short drama about friends who haven't dated or married but are raising a child together. It will be exclusively available on 'Lezhin Snack,' a new short drama platform launched by Lezhin Entertainment. The project is garnering attention as it is written and directed by Lee Byung-hun, known for his witty direction in films like 'Twenty' and 'Extreme Job,' and the drama 'Be Melodramatic.'

In the drama, Choi Hyo-joo plays the role of 'Jae-ah,' a former child actress who asks her friend 'Goo-in' (played by Kim Shin-bi) to become the 'baby's daddy.' Despite the unexpected pregnancy, she takes responsibility and grows as she raises the child with Goo-in. Choi is expected to showcase a range of new facets, from comedic chemistry to romance and family love.

Choi Hyo-joo made her debut in the web drama 'Planz: Seoyeon University Class of 22,' where she impressed audiences with her sophisticated visuals and stable acting skills. In the KBS N web drama 'I Will Meet You Again Every Day,' she portrayed 'Kang Eun-gyo,' a sports anchor, with delicate expressiveness, capturing the evolving emotions of her character. Additionally, Choi has appeared in numerous brand advertisements and music videos, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.

As Choi Hyo-joo continues to build her filmography, anticipation grows for her first short drama, 'My Baby's Daddy is My Friend,' and the new dimensions she will bring to the screen.
