Comedian Noh Yoo-jung Opens Up About Her Disappearance from TV and Life Struggles
Comedian Noh Yoo-jung has revealed the reasons behind her sudden disappearance from television.

In the episode of 'Exclusive World - The People of That Time' released on the 26th, a video featuring the current life of comedian Noh Yoo-jung was uploaded. It was reported that she is currently working in the kitchen of a restaurant in Gangnam, washing dishes.

Noh Yoo-jung debuted in 1986 as a special recruit comedian for MBC and was active in variety shows, sitcoms, and radio. However, she is now living by working in the kitchen of a Japanese restaurant.

After divorcing after 21 years of marriage and losing her broadcasting career, Noh Yoo-jung shared, "I thought I would get about 10 million won by selling my car, but I only got 5.3 million won. It was very tough. I even considered sleeping in a sauna or moving into a goshiwon. I even thought about living under a bridge."

Regarding her distance from broadcasting, she explained, "My phone was hacked. My phone bill was 200,000 to 300,000 won a month. Someone was using my number, and reporting it was useless."

Noh Yoo-jung recalled the difficult times, saying, "My phone number changed, and after announcing my divorce from the children's father, it was the worst downturn for me."

Despite the hardships, she maintained a positive mindset. She said, "I need money right now. At first, my pride was hurt. But looking back, I'm grateful. For example, who else could play a market lady role in a drama as well as I could? I think of it as life study, and maybe someday I'll use what I learned from working in a restaurant."
