In the video, Lee Min-jung, known as the 'idol of moms,' discussed parenting with Choi Min-jun and other mothers. She cautiously shared, "For the first time, I wondered if my son was going through puberty."

Lee recalled a moment during their Hong Kong trip when her son’s words deeply affected her. "Jun-hoo wanted to go to the mall wearing a shabby basketball shirt, and I suggested he change because people might recognize us," she said. "I mentioned it was embarrassing, and he seemed fixated on the word 'embarrassing.' He started walking away from me."

The tension continued the next day at the airport lounge. "Jun-hoo kept spilling things, and when I spilled some water myself, he pointed it out," Lee explained. "His words hit me hard, and I wondered if he was entering puberty."

Lee eventually expressed her feelings to her son, saying, "I told him, 'If you start feeling aggressive, let me know. I think it's starting.' I cried at the airport, missing the days when he said he didn't want to dislike me during puberty."

Her son’s unexpected reaction was to hug her and say, "Mom, it's not that. I was upset because you said you were embarrassed by me yesterday." Lee realized she had overreacted.

Reflecting on the incident, Lee admitted, "I was scared thinking he was going through puberty. It was heartbreaking, but I realized I didn't want to lose touch with his feelings."

Lee also shared her concerns about her son's growth. "When his dad is away, he insists on sleeping with me," she said. "I constantly wonder if I should encourage independence or continue to hold him close."

Choi Min-jun noted, "Puberty is a process of preparing for independence," and Lee nodded in agreement.

Lee concluded, "More than raising him perfectly, I hope we can always communicate openly."
