Lee Na-young Returns to Drama as a Lawyer in 'Honor: Their Court'

Actress Lee Na-young, who is married to Won Bin, is making her drama comeback after three years with 'Honor: Their Court,' taking on her first role as a lawyer.

The ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honor: Their Court' is a mystery thriller about three female lawyers confronting a massive scandal from their past. The emotional narrative of the series revolves around the strong bond and friendship of three lawyers from the women's crime law firm L&J (Listen & Join): Yoon Ra-young (played by Lee Na-young), Kang Shin-jae (played by Jung Eun-chae), and Hwang Hyun-jin (played by Lee Chung-ah). These women, who met as law school classmates, share painful secrets from their past and have supported each other through 20 years, ensuring their relationship remains unbroken.

Lee Na-young noted, "Given the genre's nature of three friends connected by a secret pursuing the truth, there were many intense emotional scenes." She praised the excellent chemistry among the cast, stating, "Despite the challenges, the synergy was incredible." As filming progressed, the actors became deeply immersed in their characters, leading to many unspoken emotional connections, much like the friends in the drama. Lee Na-young described the set as a place of mutual support, where actors would go above and beyond to enhance each other's performances.

Jung Eun-chae also expressed gratitude for the perfect harmony with her co-stars, whom she met for the first time through this project. She said, "I thought it would be difficult to portray a 20-year friendship, but the actors' unique sensitivity allowed us to be patient and considerate with each other on set." She added, "While each character has a dark side, the actors themselves are full of charm and quirkiness," and expressed her joy in having Lee Na-young and Lee Chung-ah as real-life friends.

Lee Chung-ah described the trio's meeting as a 'twist,' noting that while they met in a tense genre piece, their interactions often resembled a sitcom. She chose the project because of the captivating actors, stating, "Everyone is truly lovable. Lee Na-young's gentle yet strong inner self and Jung Eun-chae's confident and endearing nature closely resemble their characters, Yoon Ra-young and Kang Shin-jae."

The production team stated, "Amid the intense pursuit of truth, the unwavering friendship and synergy of the three will shine brightly in the series."

'Honor: Their Court' premieres on November 2 at 10 PM.
