Kwangsoo, a participant from the 29th season of 'I Am Solo,' has publicly apologized for his controversial remarks about fellow contestant Youngsoo during the show. He also shared that he is currently seeing someone new.

On the YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment TV,' operated by ENA and SBS PLUS's 'I Am Solo,' a video titled 'Sorry, Youngsoo!!! A Sincere Apology from Kwangsoo' was uploaded.

In a live broadcast on the channel following the show's finale, the cast members shared behind-the-scenes stories. Kwangsoo expressed his desire to sincerely apologize, admitting that his comments towards Youngsoo were disrespectful under the guise of honesty. He specifically mentioned a conversation Youngsoo had with his parents.

Kwangsoo acknowledged his fault, stating, "There is no excuse for the disrespectful comments," and formally apologized to Youngsoo, his family, and friends. He stood up and bowed deeply as a gesture of his apology. Kwangsoo admitted he was shocked by his own behavior on the show and promised to improve his conduct in social settings.

After addressing the controversy, Kwangsoo surprised viewers by announcing he is no longer single. He revealed, "Since the show aired, I've received many messages, including registered mail to my clinic with contact information." He shared that he has met someone who reached out during his difficult times, and they have gone on several dates, getting to know each other seriously. Kwangsoo added that his new partner is younger than him, noting, "Having met so many charming older women on the show, I find myself less interested in older women now."

Meanwhile, the live broadcast also updated viewers on other contestants. Youngsoo and Oksun, who became a couple on the show, are still happily together, celebrating around 120 days of their relationship. Oksun shared, "Although I acted immaturely during the show, I am now very happy with Youngsoo's kind nature." On the other hand, Youngho and Sangcheol remain single, focusing on their careers and personal development.
