'I Am SOLO' Season 29: Young-chul and Jung-sook Announced as Married Couple

The latest episode of SBS Plus and ENA's reality show 'I Am SOLO' revealed Young-chul and Jung-sook as the married couple from Season 29. The couple has already registered their marriage and is set to hold their wedding ceremony in April.

On the fifth night at Solo Nara 29th Street, Young-sook went on her final date with Young-ho and Young-sik. They enjoyed grilled shrimp in the yard, where Young-ho peeled shrimp for Young-sook, while Young-sik humorously focused on eating. After the date, Jung-sook expressed her comfort with Young-chul but also shared concerns about his conservative nature. Young-chul admitted that his feelings had shifted entirely in favor of Jung-sook.

After the final dates, the participants gathered in the common living room. Young-chul appeared in a designer shirt, prompting Young-ja and Hyun-sook to question his contradictory stance on luxury items. Jung-sook also pondered whether she would have to be cautious about buying luxury goods in the future.

As the night deepened, Young-soo had a heartfelt conversation with Ok-soon, expressing his willingness to make most of the effort in their relationship. Young-chul privately informed Jung-sook of his intention to choose her as his final partner. Meanwhile, Young-ho tried to persuade Young-sook to consider dating him, but she declined.

Young-sook later confronted Young-chul about his change of heart. He explained that he felt understood by Jung-sook. Young-sook expressed her disappointment, recalling a romantic gesture by Young-chul that she had misinterpreted.

The final selection day arrived at Solo Nara 29th Street. Young-soo, with a sketchbook in hand, confessed his feelings to Ok-soon, who chose him, making them the first couple of the season. Young-chul declared his commitment to Jung-sook, who ultimately chose him, forming the second couple.

In interviews, Young-chul expressed his desire to protect Jung-sook, while Young-soo promised to make Ok-soon happy. Ok-soon humorously noted her unique combination of intelligence, beauty, and wisdom.

As Season 29 concluded, the production team shared wedding photos of Young-chul and Jung-sook. The hosts, Defconn, Lee Yi-kyung, and Song Hae-na, applauded the couple's journey from 'final couple' to 'real couple.' 'I Am SOLO' will return with a new theme for Season 30.
