Broadcaster Kim Sook, rumored to have amassed a fortune of 10 billion won, reminisced about her 'house poor' days in her 30s.

On the October 15th episode of MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes,' Kim Sook shared her experiences regarding her financial situation in her early 30s, stating, "I was definitely house poor back then."

She revealed, "Coming from the countryside, I was in a situation where I had to return if I didn't have a house," expressing her longing for a home. Fellow guest Joo Woo-jae empathized, saying, "People from the provinces often have a stronger desire for a home. I also invested in rental properties. Whenever I saved some money, I would put it all into a lease."

Yang Se-hyung added, "In my 30s, my bank account hit its lowest point. My goal was to stabilize my parents, so the money I saved was mostly during my 30s. I started working in high school."

Previously, on another show, Kim Sook had confessed the hardships of not owning a home in her youth. She said, "I came to Seoul with dreams, but I didn't have a home here," and shared that she lived in a semi-basement, her aunt's house, and various rental places, moving over 20 times.

Meanwhile, on the YouTube channel 'Vivo TV,' when Song Eun-yi's '100 billion won wealth' was mentioned, Kim Sook indirectly revealed her financial status by saying, "I saved more than expected, and my sister saved less than expected," drawing significant attention.
