Singer Jeong Seung-hwan Playfully Roasts Antenna Agency in New Video

Singer Jeong Seung-hwan humorously roasted his agency, Antenna, which also represents stars like Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Hyo-ri.

On the 4th, a video titled "As Expected... Antenna Members Subtly Circulating in the Year of the Ox" was uploaded to Jeong Jae-hyung's channel 'Fairy Jae-hyung.'

Jeong Jae-hyung, who shared a New Year's gathering with Antenna members, said, "We gathered to hear what plans the Antenna family has. I didn't want to cook, so I wanted to eat food made by someone else," as he started the event at a restaurant run by an acquaintance.

While Lee Sang-soon and Jeong Jae-hyung were chatting, Jeong Seung-hwan arrived with a wine gift. Upon seeing the wine, Jeong Jae-hyung asked, "Is this good? I heard rumors that you're making a lot of money?" to which Jeong Seung-hwan wittily replied, "More than you?"

Jeong Jae-hyung then inquired, "I heard you started YouTube?" Jeong Seung-hwan responded, "It's content I'm doing with an external company." Jeong Jae-hyung probed further, "Doesn't Antenna produce it for you? Is Antenna poor?"

Jeong Seung-hwan joked, "Antenna is always poor. Isn't our motto 'Let's make music in poverty'? We always maintain poverty," bringing laughter with his self-deprecating humor.

Meanwhile, Antenna was founded by singer Yoo Hee-yeol in 1997. In 2021, it was acquired by Kakao Entertainment for approximately 10 billion KRW, becoming a subsidiary. The agency represents artists like Yoo Hee-yeol, Yoo Jae-suk, Jeong Jae-hyung, Lee Hyo-ri, Lee Sang-soon, Lucid Fall, Peppertones, Lee Seo-jin, Kyuhyun, and Yang Se-chan.

Antenna also drew significant attention when rumors of a 10 billion KRW signing bonus for Yoo Jae-suk surfaced. Regarding the contract, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned on MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo,' "At the time, Antenna couldn't afford a signing bonus. So, I suggested we skip the complications and just work without it. However, Yoo Hee-yeol insisted, so I ended up receiving it. I have to work hard."
