Lee Chae-min and Lee Sin-young Share Best New Actor Award at 2025 MBC Drama Awards

Lee Chae-min and Lee Sin-young have been honored with the Best New Actor award at the '2025 MBC Drama Awards'.

The ceremony took place on the evening of the 30th at the MBC Media Center in Sangam, Seoul, hosted by Kim Sung-joo and Lee Sun-bin.

The Best New Actor award was jointly awarded to Lee Chae-min for 'Crushology 101' and Lee Sin-young for 'Moon River'. This category was the first to be awarded at the MBC Drama Awards, and a joint win was decided from the outset.

Debuting in 2011, Lee Chae-min expressed, "Honestly, I was so nervous yesterday when I gave my acceptance speech at a similar event that I don't remember much. I'm grateful to the director and staff who brought me here. I also want to wish everyone a Happy New Year." He added, "It's an honor to receive this award and give a speech in front of the amazing seniors I admired on screen before becoming an actor. I promise to work hard in any future projects."

Lee Sin-young shared, "This is my first MBC project and my first awards ceremony. I was wondering what kind of gift I would receive on my way home after the ceremony, and I'm thankful to receive the Best New Actor award." Referring to his second historical drama, he said, "After my first historical drama, I was filled with fear and anxiety. I dedicate this honor to the director."
