Seo Kang-jun Triumphs at 2025 MBC Drama Awards with 'Undercover High School'
On the 30th, Seo Kang-jun was awarded the Grand Prize at the '2025 MBC Drama Awards' held at the MBC Media Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. He received the accolade for his role in the drama 'Undercover High School', where he portrayed Jung Hae-sung, a National Intelligence Service agent who goes undercover in a high school to recover the gold bars of Emperor Gojong. The drama achieved the highest ratings among MBC dramas aired this year, with an 8.3% viewership according to Nielsen Korea.
He continued, "I am surprised and grateful to receive such a significant award for this project. I thought I was acting with a lot of thought, but when I look around, there are so many people who work harder than I do. I feel like I was just lucky. I don't know how long I will be able to act, but until the day I stop, I don't want to be replaced. I will act and research more earnestly. Thank you."
Meanwhile, Seo Kang-jun is set to make a special appearance in Netflix's new drama 'Boyfriend on Demand' (월간남친), where he will meet viewers once again.
