Lee Seo-jin Wins Top Excellence Award at 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards

Actor Lee Seo-jin has been honored with the Top Excellence Award.

On the evening of the 30th, the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards' took place at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Cha Tae-hyun, and Lee Su-ji. The ceremony began at 8:50 PM and after approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, the Top Excellence Award was presented.

The Top Excellence Award in the Show & Variety category was awarded to Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu for 'My Grumpy Secretary'. Kim Kwang-kyu expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am so thankful to the production team for inviting me to such a great program. I think of my father who passed away without ever flying on a plane," and added, "I miss him so much. I hope my mother, who is currently unwell, will be healthy in the new year."

Lee Seo-jin humorously remarked, "The entertainment awards were so long that I was getting tired and bored, but they gave me an award," and added, "Since I've received an award, I'll consider a next season for My Grumpy Secretary," eliciting laughter.

He further stated, "In fact, we didn't achieve the top ratings in our time slot. We practiced a cheer for when we hit number one, but since it seems unlikely, I'll shout it out and wrap up," and declared, "We'll show you why we are My Grumpy Secretary, why I am Kim Kwang-kyu, and why I am Lee Seo-jin," before leaving the stage.

Meanwhile, this year's Grand Prize contenders include Yu Jae-seok, Jeon Hyun-moo, Tak Jae-hoon, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Seo Jang-hoon, and Ji Seok-jin, who are all competing fiercely for the top honor.
