2025 SBS Entertainment Awards: Yoon Shi-yoon, Yoo Yeon-seok, Choi Jin-hyuk, and Lee Seo-jin Shine with Wins

The 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards celebrated a night of triumph for actors Yoon Shi-yoon, Yoo Yeon-seok, Choi Jin-hyuk, and Lee Seo-jin, who all took home prestigious awards.

Hosted by Jun Hyun-moo, Cha Tae-hyun, and Lee Soo-ji, the event took place on the evening of the 30th at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Yoon Shi-yoon was honored with the Excellence Award in the Male Reality category for his work on 'My Little Old Boy,' while Yoo Yeon-seok received the Excellence Award in the Male Show Reality category for 'Whenever I Can.' Choi Jin-hyuk, also from 'My Little Old Boy,' won the Top Excellence Award in the Reality category, and the Top Excellence Award in the Show Reality category went to Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu for 'Secretary Jin.'

The consecutive wins by actors in four categories sparked some disappointment among viewers who felt that comedians were overlooked.

Choi Jin-hyuk expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to 'My Little Old Boy,' I've been able to mend my relationship with my mom." He also shared a heartfelt acceptance speech lasting about three minutes, mentioning his special connection with Park Kyung-lim.

Yoon Shi-yoon humbly accepted his award, stating, "I am grateful for this significant award, which I never expected to receive. I never thought about what it means to be a good son, but through 'My Little Old Boy,' I realized my shortcomings and immaturity. I thank the production team for this insight."

Yoo Yeon-seok, like Choi Jin-hyuk, delivered a lengthy acceptance speech of about three and a half minutes. He shared, "When I first started 'Whenever I Can,' I was worried about doing well. Watching Jae-seok hyung each week has been a learning and joyful experience. The reason we've reached Season 4 and received this award is thanks to him."

Meanwhile, this year's Grand Prize contenders include Yoo Jae-suk, Jun Hyun-moo, Tak Jae-hoon, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Seo Jang-hoon, and Ji Seok-jin, all vying for the top honor.
