Comedian Lee Soo-ji Shines on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' with Her Unique Charm and Humor

Comedian Lee Soo-ji, who has become a rising star, shared her thoughts on her newfound popularity on the latest episode of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' aired on the 28th.

During the show, Lee Soo-ji's refrigerator was unveiled, showcasing her personal taste and lifestyle.

This year has been a remarkable one for Lee Soo-ji, as she celebrated winning awards at both the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Blue Dragon Series Awards, marking it as 'The Year of Lee Soo-ji.'

As a trailblazer among female entertainers, Lee humorously mentioned, "My mom keeps calling to remind me to stay humble. Honestly, I've just been doing my job, but I guess I've been lucky this year. I wonder what I've done to deserve all this attention, even my dog seems to adore me," drawing laughter from the audience.

Lee Soo-ji has captivated audiences with various 'alter egos' such as 'Ttuji,' 'Jenny the Korean-American,' and 'Ham Boogi the Rapper.' Notably, Ham Boogi's appearance at the Waterbomb Festival further cemented her popularity.

Comedian Kim Won-hoon humorously recounted, "When we went to the Waterbomb Festival, Ham Boogi started off in a beautiful outfit, but by the end, she looked like a drenched hippo," causing an uproar of laughter.

When Chef Son Jong-won couldn't contain his laughter, Lee Soo-ji jokingly asked, "Aren't we meeting for the first time?" The chefs expressed their admiration, saying, "We just love hippos," conveying their fan spirit.

Before revealing her refrigerator, Lee Soo-ji humorously requested, "It might be surprising, but I really love vegetables. So, I'd like a delicious vegetable dish, but with lots of meat on my plate," eliciting laughter.

Kim Won-hoon added, "She once did a cucumber-only diet, eating 40 cucumbers a day," which had everyone in stitches. Lee Soo-ji proudly shared, "My father-in-law grows cucumbers in Gurye, Jeollanam-do. He also sends us a box of persimmons, showing his affection for his daughter-in-law."

MC Kim Sung-joo asked, "I heard Lee Soo-ji only gets one day off a month. How do you manage your refrigerator?" Lee Soo-ji replied, "I don't really manage it separately. I just eat as I go," adding, "My husband takes care of it. He's very supportive," expressing her gratitude.
