Seo Yea-ji to Make Her Stage Debut in 'Death Song' Amidst Anticipation
Seo Yea-ji, known for her performances in dramas such as 'Eve', 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay', 'Save Me', and the film 'Recalled', is challenging herself with her first-ever stage performance.
The play 'Death Song' is a narrative set in the tumultuous 1920s, exploring the love and unyielding desire for freedom among artists of that era.
In 'Death Song', Seo Yea-ji will portray the tragic soprano Yoon Sim-deok, a character who defied societal constraints with her passion for art, love, and personal choice. Yoon Sim-deok is reimagined as a figure who actively shapes her life and relationships, rather than merely being swept away by her tragic fate.
Seo Yea-ji's debut play 'Death Song' will be performed from January 30, 2026, to March 2, 2026, at the Sejong Center M Theater in Seoul. Tickets are available through NOL Ticket and the Sejong Center's website.
