2025 MBC Entertainment Awards: A Night of Laughter, Drama, and Stellar Performances

However, broadcaster Park Na-rae and SHINee's Key, initially scheduled to attend, will be absent due to controversies linked to the 'Injection Aunt' incident.

Scheduled to air on the 29th, the '2025 MBC Entertainment Awards' will showcase stars from MBC's variety shows, who have played a crucial role in providing entertainment throughout the year. MBC has maintained its reputation as a leader in variety programming, offering a wide array of reality, sports, travel, and talk shows in 2025. Anticipation is high for who will receive the esteemed Grand Prize.

There is also considerable interest in the Viewer’s Choice Award for Best Variety Show and Best Couple Award, both determined by audience votes. The nominees for the Best Variety Show will be revealed during the live broadcast, with winners chosen through text voting.

Jeon Hyun-moo, who has hosted the event since 2018, returns for his eighth consecutive year, joined by Jang Do-yeon, who co-hosted with him in 2020. The pair is expected to deliver a comfortable and witty dynamic, enhancing the festive atmosphere with their refined chemistry.
