Song Hye-kyo Reflects on Changing Self-Perceptions in Candid Interview

Actress Song Hye-kyo candidly shared her evolving thoughts while looking in the mirror.

On the 26th, 'Harper's Bazaar Korea' official channel released a video titled "Did you get this question at the end of the year!? Is Song Hye-kyo a comedy character? Just funny when you see her."

In the video, Song Hye-kyo participated in an interview and was asked, "What do you think when you look in the mirror every day?" She began by saying, "Everyone probably wants the answer to be, 'Oh, why am I so pretty?'"

Song Hye-kyo confessed, "When I was younger, I was on the chubby side, so I often thought, 'I need to lose weight quickly.'" She added, "These days, when I look in the mirror after doing my makeup, I think, 'I like today's style,' or 'This is a new look,'" reflecting a shift in her perspective.

She also showed her honest side by admitting that she sometimes feels she looks "tired."

Regarding the recent buzz about the dress she wore at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, Song Hye-kyo expressed gratitude to her team, saying, "The hair, makeup, and stylist did such a great job that I received compliments. Since I have a petite frame, I choose dresses that highlight my strengths rather than my weaknesses. Indian pink suits my face well," she added, expressing her appreciation to her staff.
