'Annoying Love' Climbs to Prime Video's Top 5: A New K-Comedy Sensation
tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Annoying Love' is setting new records with its captivating storyline. According to global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol, 'Annoying Love' ranked 5th on Prime Video for two consecutive days, the 17th and 18th, showcasing its steady popularity. Domestically, the show is struggling with ratings, maintaining a 4% viewership for four consecutive weeks.
'Annoying Love' is a drama about a national actor who has lost his initial passion and an entertainment journalist obsessed with justice, featuring a battle of wits, fact-bombing, and breaking stereotypes. The delightful synergy of trusted actors like Lee Jung-jae, Lim Ji-yeon, Seo Ji-hye, and Kim Ji-hoon is earning positive responses.
Producer Kwon Byung-wook of 'Annoying Love' expressed gratitude, saying, "We sincerely thank global fans for enjoying the comedic elements of the drama despite language and cultural differences." He continued, "Believing in the power of genuine laughter and fresh storytelling, we hope 'Annoying Love' continues to receive unwavering love from viewers worldwide."
In the latest episode, Lim Hyun-joon (played by Lee Jung-jae) surprised everyone at the press conference for 'Good Detective Kang Pil-gu Season 5' by confessing, "It's true that there's someone I like here." Although the confession was vague, his gaze directed solely at Wi Jung-shin (played by Lim Ji-yeon) heightened the viewers' excitement.
'Annoying Love' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
