Actress Ham So-won Reveals Unique Parenting Style on MBN's 'Dongchimi'
In a preview clip of MBN's 'Dongchimi' aired on the 24th, Ham So-won revealed an anecdote about restricting her 8-year-old daughter's meals to correct her lifestyle habits.
In the video, Hye-jung candidly told her father, Jin-hwa, "If I don't bring my notice book, I only get seaweed as a side dish." Jin-hwa asked, "What if you don't bring anything?" to which Hye-jung replied, "I can't eat anything."
Shocked, Jin-hwa confirmed with Ham So-won, "Is it true that she gets nothing if she doesn't bring her notice book?" Ham So-won clarified, "When did I say that? I give her rice, water, and vegetable side dishes, just not meat."
Indeed, a note on Ham So-won's refrigerator read, "If you don't bring both the notice book and homework book, you only get water and rice." Hye-jung, overhearing her parents' conversation, appeared anxious, evoking sympathy. Jin-hwa expressed, "It's right to give her what she wants to eat," while Ham So-won countered, "Rice and vegetables are also nutritious."
Previously on the show, Ham So-won revealed, "It's already been three years since the divorce. My relationship with my ex-husband is a concern. My daughter can't avoid meeting him," disclosing that she continues to live with her ex-husband Jin-hwa, drawing significant attention.
