Love and Resilience: 'I Am Solo' Stars Young-chul and Young-ja Share Their Journey

Young-chul and Young-ja from the 28th season of 'I Am Solo' have opened up about their life together, overcoming past hardships.

On the YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment TV,' run by SBS PLUS 'I Am Solo' PD Nam Kyu-hong, a video titled '28th Season Young-chul (aka. Byun Woo-seok, Nam Hee-seok...) Discovers the Taste of Beauty' was uploaded.

In the video, Young-ja and Young-chul are seen living together. Young-ja revealed, "We are planning to get married and have set a date, but today we have plans to go out together."

As they walked, Young-ja mentioned the hardships they had faced together. She said, "When something happens, we don't get discouraged. We handle what needs to be handled and start again from there."

Previously, Young-ja and Young-chul announced a pre-marital pregnancy and received congratulations, but they faced the heartbreak of a miscarriage. In a prior video, Young-chul expressed, "The child was a blessing from heaven, but Young-ja's safety and health are the top priority," shedding tears. He hoped for Young-ja's recovery after surgery.

The couple visited a hair salon for Young-chul's makeover. During the 28th season of 'I Am Solo,' Young-chul received comments from viewers about his 'acorn hairstyle.'

While Young-chul was getting his hair done, Young-ja gave an interview. When asked about her first impression of Young-chul, she said, "I didn't like him at all. I was curious about who would support my career, but when we met, I was out."

Young-ja continued, "Initially, I didn't like his hairstyle, and he had a strong 'uncle' vibe. But as we experienced reality together, we realized that external appearances aren't the most important thing. We grew to love each other's inner qualities."
