Actor Park Jung-woo made a remarkable first impression in his debut on 'Idol Eye'.

Park Jung-woo appeared as Choi Jae-hee in the Genie TV original drama 'Idol Eye', which premiered on the 22nd.

'Idol Eye' is a mystery courtroom romance that unfolds as star lawyer Maeng Se-na (played by Choi Soo-young), a superfan, takes on the case of her favorite idol, Do Ra-ik (played by Kim Jae-young), who is accused of murder. Park Jung-woo plays the role of Choi Jae-hee, the drummer of the band Gold Boys, to which Do Ra-ik belongs.

In the episode, Jae-hee sarcastically remarked about Ra-ik's absence from the concert rehearsal, saying, "He has no sense." When Ra-ik finally arrived, Jae-hee expressed his discomfort with a sharp tone, questioning, "Is it okay for the star to be this late?" He also vented his pent-up frustrations, saying, "We were dragged here because there was no guest to call. They're using us."

Jae-hee's emotions were further stirred by Ra-ik's cynical retort. In a heated moment, Jae-hee stood up and crossed the line by saying, "Is it something to brag about, suffering under a mother who hops from bar to bar?" He then heightened the tension by throwing a punch at Ra-ik's face without hesitation.

Park Jung-woo captivated viewers with his convincing portrayal of Jae-hee, blending frustration and anger in his expressions and gaze during the intense confrontation. His dynamic performance in the clash with Ra-ik left a strong impression of his character and piqued curiosity about future developments.

The Genie TV original drama 'Idol Eye', featuring Park Jung-woo, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM on ENA, and is available for streaming on Netflix.
