Ahn Eun-jin Submits Resignation to Jang Ki-yong in 'Kiss Sixth Sense'
In the 12th episode of SBS's 'Kiss Sixth Sense' (directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo/written by Ha Yoon-ah, Tae Kyung-min), which aired at 9 PM on the 18th, Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin) is seen submitting her resignation to Gong Ji-hyuk (played by Jang Ki-yong).
During the episode, Go Da-rim approaches Gong Ji-hyuk with her resignation letter. She tells him, "I don't think I can do this anymore," and apologizes. However, Gong Ji-hyuk responds, "I will reject it."
Gong Ji-hyuk then reveals, "It's not about the money. In the document review, all candidates with outstanding academic and career backgrounds were rejected, and only those with the lowest scores were selected for interviews," handing her a document. Surprised, Go Da-rim asks, "Why is that, including me?"
Gong Ji-hyuk explains, "There was never an intention to form a proper team from the start." Go Da-rim acknowledges, "People were right; it was just a token team." Gong Ji-hyuk admits, "Initially, I thought so too," to which Go Da-rim laughs and agrees. Gong Ji-hyuk continues, "But among the team that everyone gave up on, there was one person who didn't give up, and that was you, Go Da-rim."
Gong Ji-hyuk tells Go Da-rim, "Our team is practically your creation. You didn't take someone else's place; you brought this team, which would have disappeared without a trace, to where it is now." He asks her to consider staying until the rest of the team can become full-time employees before thinking about leaving.
