Kim Hye-yoon Graces 'Singles' Magazine Cover with Enchanting Fantasy Vibe
In this photoshoot, Kim Hye-yoon showcases her quirky charm and dreamy atmosphere, marking the first cover of the new year. Much like the diverse characters she portrayed throughout 2025, she captivates with her unpredictable allure.
In 'No Tail to Tell,' Kim's character 'Eun-ho' completely overturns the traditional gumiho narrative. Instead of saying "I want to be human," she boldly declares, "Human? No thanks." Directed by Kim Chang-kwon, this confident MZ gumiho character was born. Kim explained, "The gumiho character itself was very attractive," adding, "The biggest charm of this character is its unconventional thinking." She continued, "The director encouraged me to 'spread my wings and fly,' and I drew a lot of inspiration from my pet cat, Hongsi, while playing the gumiho."
Currently filming 'Land,'(랜드) Kim takes on an even more daring role, teaming up with Yum Jung-ah and Cha Joo-young to 'rob a bank.' With wire action scenes, she is set to transform into a new action star. Co-stars like Byeon Woo-seok from 'Lovely Runner' and Lee Jae-wook from 'Extraordinary You' consistently praise their chemistry with Kim. What's her secret? In the 'Singles' interview, Kim humbly said, "I don't think I do anything special, but people always seem to view me positively." She added, "If I make an effort, it's to get closer to them, meeting and talking beforehand, and having personal conversations on set."
Kim also shared, "I try hard not to lose the initial passion I felt when I started acting," and regarding the title of 'trustworthy actress,' she confessed, "It was a title I wanted, but now that I have it, I feel a lot of pressure." She continued, "I feel the weight of meeting expectations and not disappointing, so I approach each project with seriousness," affirming her dedication.
SBS drama 'No Tail to Tell' premieres on January 16. More of Kim Hye-yoon's story and photos can be found in the January 2026 issue of 'Singles' and on their official website.
