Ji Suk-jin Reveals Borrowing Money from Yoo Jae-suk 22 Years Ago

Korean entertainer Ji Suk-jin recently shared a story about borrowing a significant amount of money from fellow entertainer Yoo Jae-suk 22 years ago.

On October 13, a video titled "Checking In Is Just an Excuse" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun.'

In the video, Yoo Jae-suk and Ji Suk-jin visit actor Lee Dong-hwi's home. While discussing money and trust, Ji Suk-jin remarked, "Usually, scams happen with people close to you. That's how it is." Yoo Jae-suk agreed, saying, "It's similar to lending money and not getting it back."

Ji Suk-jin shared his experience, saying, "When the amount is awkward, it's even more awkward to ask for it back." Yoo Jae-suk added, "There are times when someone promises to repay but then you never hear from them."

Ji Suk-jin recalled, "The last time I borrowed money was from Jae-suk," to which Yoo Jae-suk responded, "Wasn't it when there was no congratulatory money?" indicating he didn't remember. Ji Suk-jin then revealed, "It wasn't a small amount 22 years ago, but I borrowed it and repaid it."

Ji Suk-jin explained that he couldn't repay the money on the agreed date, saying, "I was going to take it out of stocks, but I was stuck, so I asked him to wait a little longer. I repaid it soon after."

He continued, "If I can't repay, I feel like I'd go crazy. There are many people who are comfortable with it," and mentioned he repaid Yoo Jae-suk within two days. Yoo Jae-suk responded with laughter, "Hyung, you're someone I've trusted for a long time. I know your house, your parents, and even if you run away, I know where you'd be."
