Emotional Reunion: Kim Sejeong and Kang Tae-oh Rediscover Their Past in 'Moon River'
Kim Sejeong's character regains her past memories, leading to an emotional revelation for Kang Tae-oh's character.

In the 11th episode of MBC's 'Moon River' (directed by Lee Dong-hyun, written by Jo Seung-hee), which aired on the 12th at 9:40 PM, viewers witnessed Park Dal-i (played by Kim Sejeong) recovering her memories and her emotional reunion with Lee Kang (played by Kang Tae-oh).

During the episode, Park Dal-i recalls her past identity as Kang Yeon-wol (also played by Kim Sejeong) and reunites with Lee Kang. In the past, the dethroned Kang Yeon-wol received a letter from Park Hong-nan (played by Park Ah-in) urging her to flee from the poison sent by Lee Hee (played by Kim Nam-hee).

Kang Yeon-wol was initially hesitant to escape, fearing that Lee Kang would come searching for her. However, persuaded by Park Hong-nan's plea to think of herself, she eventually asked for help to escape. Kang Yeon-wol then threw herself into a winter river, hoping for Lee Kang's peace. Park Hong-nan saved her from drowning, and Kang Yeon-wol lived on as Park Dal-i, having lost her memories.

Upon regaining her fragmented memories, Park Dal-i tearfully confronted Park Hong-nan, asking why she was deceived. Park Hong-nan quickly summoned Dal-i's parents, who promised to support her. Determined, Park Dal-i declared, "I must see His Highness immediately," and rushed to Lee Kang.

Meanwhile, Lee Kang overheard a conversation between King Lee Hee and Park Hong-nan, revealing Park Dal-i's true identity. Shocked, Lee Kang learned that Park Dal-i had lost her memories after throwing herself into the river and was now aware of her true self.

Park Dal-i stopped a court eunuch from setting fire to her pavilion, blaming herself for leaving Lee Kang in the past. Remembering Lee Kang's plea to stay with him, she headed towards him. Upon meeting Lee Kang, Park Dal-i playfully teased him, saying, "Just think of me as a sticky rice cake sitting here," while continuing to charm him.

However, upon hearing news about Lee Woon (played by Lee Sin-young), Park Dal-i sought him out the next day, expressing her concern. Previously, Lee Woon had attempted to avenge his family by targeting the Left Minister but was stopped by Lee Kang. Lee Kang encouraged Lee Woon to take the throne, saying, "Let's create a path and live." Park Dal-i assisted Lee Kang and Lee Woon by gathering information through Kim Woo-hee (played by Hong Su-zu).

Late at night, Lee Kang confirmed Park Dal-i's identity after overhearing a conversation between Lee Hee and Park Hong-nan. Rushing to the palace, Lee Kang stood on a bridge, lamenting, "Because of me, that precious person returned on her small feet through a rough path." At that moment, Park Dal-i appeared before him. Lee Kang, filled with emotion, asked, "Do you know what happens when you catch a falling petal?" Park Dal-i, with tears in her eyes, replied, "I must have caught two, as I've married my first love twice."

Overcome with emotion, Lee Kang knelt and apologized, "I'm sorry. I left you alone for too long." Park Dal-i, holding back tears, took his hand and said, "At times like this, you should embrace me like a sticky rice cake, not kneel." The two shared a heartfelt and emotional embrace, confirming their tender reunion.
