K-Pop Star Kim Jaejoong Embraces 'Young Forty' Status Ahead of Milestone Birthday

K-pop sensation Kim Jaejoong is making headlines with his recent 'Young Forty' declaration as he approaches his 40th birthday.

On his YouTube channel 'Jae Friend,' Kim Jaejoong released a video titled 'Men Who Confidently Cheat,' featuring guests Niel, Chunji, Ricky, and Changjo from the popular boy band Teen Top.

Introducing himself as "Kim Jaejoong, back as a Young Forty," he stated, "Today, I've returned in hot pink to be a warm presence for you," as he welcomed Teen Top. Known for being produced by Andy, Teen Top has been a sensation since their debut, and Kim Jaejoong shared, "Even my sister was a fan of Teen Top, especially a huge fan of Niel," highlighting his family's connection to the group.

Recalling Niel's appearance on 'Jae Friend' two years ago, Kim Jaejoong complimented him, saying, "You haven't aged a bit," to which Niel responded, "Neither have you." However, Kim Jaejoong candidly admitted, "I can't escape it anymore," explaining, "My birthday is in January, and I'll be turning 40, so there's no running away from it."

Teen Top members remarked on Kim Jaejoong's youthful appearance, saying, "You don't look it at all; we even talked about it in our waiting room." Despite their compliments, Kim Jaejoong humorously added, "They call me Young Forty," bringing laughter to the conversation.

Kim Jaejoong inquired, "Who here is closest to my age?" Teen Top members, celebrating their 15th anniversary, revealed they debuted between the ages of 16 and 18. When Chunji, the oldest member, raised his hand and said, "I'm 33," Kim Jaejoong expressed surprise, "You're still only 33?" He jokingly retracted his earlier introduction, saying, "I thought you guys would understand the Young Forty mindset, but I guess not," causing another round of laughter. Chunji replied, "We're getting older too, but you're still older," to which Kim Jaejoong laughed, "You can't hide your age."

Previously, Kim Jaejoong discussed his finances on Joo Woo Jae's YouTube channel, stating, "I've sold cars and real estate, bought other things, and put it all together," adding, "I would need about 1 trillion won." He concluded, "It's impossible to earn that much; the structure doesn't allow it."
